Yak-Tat K̲wáan, Inc (YKI) is a for-profit Alaska Native Corporation based in Yakutat, Alaska, owned by nearly 500 Tlingit and Alaskan Native shareholders. We were organized under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. Yakutat Tlingits have a strong historic, cultural, and economic connection to the land, having thrived here long before any U.S. government laws.

Nestled between the towering St. Elias Mountain Range, the vast Tongass National Forest, and Alaska's rugged Gulf Coast, Yakutat boasts a truly unique location. YKI, in collaboration with our regional partner, Sealaska, manages 21,000 acres of pristine land.
